The Holy Spirit told me to write this down, so i could send it to some people, so I’m writing this in a different app, so I can end up posting it on the website soon to share with Everyone who ever reads it.
I have been diving into a podcast bible study on the book of Jude. (the second to last book of the bible, and a harsh warning to Christians on what to be on the lookout for, spiritual traps, and what is coming)
We are all, as “Christians”, accountable for our own actions, and our words, before God. I don’t make personal accusations against others, because I still screw up daily too. This “walking with Jesus” thing, is a long hard road; and we’re not the Judge of other’s, God is.
Anger, even “Righteous anger” isn’t for us. It always leads us away from God. We are taught that sometimes, being angry is ‘okay’, and while, sure anger ‘happens’, however, there are a few verses that i cling to “in your anger, do not sin” (that’s IMPOSSIBLE if even the entertaining of a thought IS the sin….. ) and “Do not let the sun go down on your anger” (Meaning, BEFORE you go to sleep, forgive everyone, let it all go, and “let tomorrow worry about itself”)
Radical Forgiveness, is extremely difficult, but it’s what Christ did for us, even as we ARE sinners. He suffered, and died…. for US, pure and having never sinned, he gave his life willingly, so that all of us, might follow, and believe in him. Seeking him with our whole heart, mind, and soul. That does look different for everyone, we all have our own roles to play….but it IS important to remember.
If this IS the Last Christmas (and obviously, i pray we have MANY more, we just don’t know) let us PRAISE his birth, because without it, we wouldn’t have a way to avoid the Judgement. “For ALL have sinned, and fallen short of the glory of God”.
Sometimes, following the path Christ puts you on, can cost you more than you’re willing to give up, I know it is for me…. its cost me family, blood, and children. I’ve seen the army of darkness, and it doesn’t like when I talk, so I never used to. But, there are reasons, and in God’s timing ( that is the hardest thing for me…. I’m very impatient, that’s one of my struggles still, constant struggle to wait for HIS timing ) but in his timing, He will bring all things together for good.
When we die, and get to heaven, we’ll finally see the whole picture… but now, on earth? We have the perspective of ants… the more I learn, the less I know.
I pray the Lord Blesses you, Keeps you, and that he finds you. I pray you read your bible, daily. Even for 5 minutes. If you want to know what God has to say, start by reading it. I pray the blood of Jesus, over you, your families, your enemies, i pray the blood of Jesus over our children, and our spouses, even if those relationships are broken, I pray for Miraculous restoration, forgiveness, repentance, and Hearts turning back to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the One true King! Amen!
In closing, I pray you find time to listen to this final chapter of the Jude bible study. It is long, two hours, but it is very interesting, and moving, and it gets deep. Very worth the listen, in fact, I’m going through the whole series again, as I’m starting my own reading through and study of it.
