Okay, Let me be as clear as I can. I love Christmas, but I despise Santa. “Santa” isn’t a word, or a name.. but those letters DO spell a name we all should Know.
The “Christian” Version is Saint Nicholas, who, in all regards, was a pretty cool dude. he did pretty awesome things in the name of Jesus. However, I still doubt, he’d want children to think this day was about something besides the majesty of HIS lord and savior. So He’s dead now, but Jesus isn’t.
The secular “Santa” is quite honestly Satan himself, the king elf *cough* fallen one, the Dragon of old. And look at all his helper minions too!… and too many “Christians” embrace this grossness, this LIE…… and when the kid grows up, and realizes they have been lied to …. when they hear the TRUTH, the real truth.. the way, the truth and the life… the only way to the father…. why should they believe that?
I don’t care if You do trees, I don’t care if you do some of the things that people do… i wont, I can’t… I do Nativity…. and for what it’s worth, if you are going to do “Santa”… just understand what it is…
It is inviting a dark spirit, THE dark spirit, into your home overnight…. on the night we celebrate our most Holy’s birth… to spread lies into the hearts and souls of all of us. well… He is not welcome in my home. Sorry not sorry, but I won’t participate.
That all being said, I want to bring this back to WHAT we should be celebrating… the the Lord most High. The living Word, that created everything by speaking it into existence, the Son of Man, and the Final Sacrifice who bore the burden of ALL our sin, that if we Should Follow him, we might have eternal life…… We celebrate HIS birth, his taking on Flesh. born of a VIRGIN. Seriously, that, is literally “awesome” in every single sense…. He walked a life, pure, and blameless…. something not ONE of us can claim… He took on flesh, so that he would one day, Die, horribly for us…. so that we could live with him forever after this place.
Thank the lord Jesus Christ for coming to us, for saving us… for saving someone as horrible as me, for changing me. I Pray for all of you, daily, I pray the lord Jesus will open your eyes, to the things that are real. to the truth that the spiritual realm is real, sometimes more real than our physical reality, and that the “voices in your head” are not your own. They ARE the demons we’re warned about. It is why we are commanded to police our thoughts, take them captive, and set them on the RIGHT path. Seek first the Kingdom of God. Pick up your Cross, and FOLLOW Christ, “Daily” (Luke 9:23)… the thing that’s left out, is WHERE he went with the cross… we are to follow him, unto our death…..
and I guess, that’s what I needed to say…. it’s time to wake my Daughter up from her nap. we’ve got Church this evening and she’s SOOOO excited! so am I. I can’t wait to tell her the Jesus story again, she loves it… and Honestly, i love the way she told me…..

“Well… there was this woman, her name was ‘Mary’ anyway, she said ‘oooooh, ow….’ and then Jesus was here.”
So I’ll leave this Ministry moment on that note, because Jesus commands us to be like Children, and never scorn them, because THEY are the kingdom of Heaven, and Honestly, My Daughter is very, VERY much that.
